In 1925, Maison D'ORSAY launched Dandy, a fragrance that quickly became iconic for the complexity and arrangement of its notes. The blend was decidedly ambitious: Whiskey, Rum, Yellow Fruit; followed by a spicy heart of Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Clove, Cardamom and ending with notes of Tobacco, Benzoin, Sandalwood, Peruvian Balsam, Tonka Bean and Patchouli.

Almost 100 years later, D'ORSAY exposes its famous Dandy, swapping the suave for the tangy, keeping the bare essentials of its spices.

CREATION STORY

Sidonie Lancesseur tells us about her creation. "I wanted to create an unexpected and recognizable fragrance by contrasting a slightly smoky Cuiré Black Tea accord with a sweet and innocent Orange Blossom, I really wanted the fragrance to make you want to smell it indefinitely, an almost obsessive addiction.
